Photographic material from Ediacaran localities in the Dobrogea region of Romania (NERC grant NE/L011409/2)

Photographs document late Ediacaran fossil specimens, sedimentological features, and field localities. Each folder is arranged by broad locality. Fossils include microbial mat fabrics, holdfast discs, trace fossils, and abiotic sedimentary structures, found within turbiditic deposits of late Ediacaran age. Photographs were taken to document fossil specimens, field localities, and sedimentary structures discovered during my fieldwork. These images will be useful to geoscientists with an interest in Ediacaran macropalaeontology.
