North of Tyne Local Nature Recovery Strategy - Strategic Recovery Areas

For the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) which was adopted in March 2026. Not part of the statutory mapping (refer to the LNRS document for more explanation). This is where there are large areas in a "nature recovery" mindset or landownership, indicating a scale of deliverability, synergies, and ambition. There is a lot of ecological potential in these areas, especially with a realistic chance of actions in the next 5-10 years. See the document to understand more.
