Climate station data from three common garden plantations along a thermal gradient in the Colombian Andes, 2019-2025

This dataset compiles weather station data from the Colombian Andes collected at three experimental sites with contrasting mean annual temperatures (13.7, 22.1, and 25.5 degrees Celsius). Recorded variables include direct and diffuse radiation, precipitation, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric visibility. Data were recorded at a 10-minute resolution using Campbell Scientific CR1000X dataloggers. A second data logger (HOBO U23-001 Pro v2) recorded air temperature, relative humidity, and dew point at the same temporal resolution. The Dataset spans from October 2019 to April 2025. Weather stations were installed within common garden plantations established between December 2018 and January 2019 along an elevational gradient in the Colombian Andes to investigate dominant Andean tree species responses to changes in temperature. The supporting document of each dataset describes measured variables, units, sampling locations, quality control procedures, detailed sampling protocols, data processing steps, and dataset-specific methodological information.
